The Los Angeles based artist's latest single released in February 2021, “Young Queen”, pays tribute to her mother and all moms who raise their daughters to see themselves as "Young Queens,’ the song oozes with passion and determination. It’s a powerful pop anthem and meaningful record, showcasing everything that the songwriter represents - strength, vulnerability and quality. Sonically “Young Queen” bursts with soulful vocal tones, highlighting Mimoza's impressive range, while dynamic percussion elements and big, bold instrumentation create the ultimate emotional release.
Following the success of the single, MIMOZA releases a Marc Benjamin remix and an Aexcit Remix (UMG / Island Records) in June 2021. Marc Benjamin is a famed Dutch DJ and music producer who is known as a prolific remixer working with the likes of Afrojack, Zedd and many more. His remix of Mimoza's empowering pop hit explodes with a vibrant and upbeat energy, perfect for any summer dance playlist, while the German DJ duo Aexcit puts a really unique spin on the track with downtempo, chill beats and breezy production.
