Die Idee, einen bekannten 80er-Jahre-Song zu covern, entstand durch Zufall. Im Fernsehen lief ein Werbespot und im Hintergrund hörte ich die alte Version aus den 80ern. Es weckte sofort alte Erinnerungen in mir. Ich habe mich gefragt, wie man heute mit 80er-Verständnis Songs produzieren würde. Mein Ehrgeiz war geweckt, also habe ich mich mit Michael Kores (Produzent und Kollege) zusammengetan, um dies zu tun, ohne die Komposition zu ändern. Der Qualitätsanspruch, sowohl bei der Aufnahme als auch bei der Produktion, war uns sehr wichtig. Dies war sicherlich kein Schnellschuss, sondern eine sorgfältige Überlegung, warum die Produktion eine gewisse Zeit in Anspruch genommen hatte. Auch bei der Videoproduktion haben wir uns viele Gedanken gemacht und glauben, dass das Ergebnis ein rundum gelungenes Produkt ist.

The idea to cover a well-known 80s song came about by chance. There was a commercial on TV and in the background I heard the old version from the 80s. It immediately brought back old memories in me. I asked myself how one would produce songs today with an understanding of the 80s. My ambition was piqued, so I teamed up with Michael Kores (producer and colleague) to do this without changing the composition. The quality standards, both in recording and in production, were very important to us. This was certainly not a quick shot, but a careful consideration of why the Production had taken a certain amount of time. We also put a lot of thought into the video production and believe that the result is an all-round successful product.
